This week we worked really hard with the ward mission leader. We did a lot of splits, where I work with a church member and my companion does other visits with another church member. In this way we were able to teach a lot of missionary lessons this week.
My companion and I did service this week as well, when we went to chop wood for an older lady in the branch. Central heating is not common in the south of Chile, and almost everyone uses a wood-burning stove. So we chopped some firewood for this sweet old grandma.
The [missionary] sisters assigned to work in Rio Bueno brought two families to church on Sunday. They have been working really hard for the past few weeks, and it was nice to see their efforts culminate on Sunday morning.
